Important Safety Notice

It has recently come to our attention that there seems to be more and more kayak fishermen going out in dangerous conditions around the UK. We've seen forum posts coupled with images of people setting out in thick fog and even admitting that they could've gotten into serious difficulty. Some have even posted that they've set off in foggy conditions coupled with rough seas which is totally ludicrous!

We MUST pull together to protect our sport from getting bad publicity by making all kayaker as well as fishermen that going out in foggy conditions is absolutely ridiculous, totally irresponsible & could be fatal! All we need is ONE foolish individual to get into trouble and call the RNLI out for it to be branded a dangerous sport!

I've posted an in depth message in the forums Here where it can be discussed further. Please stay safe out there peole, my motto is "if it looks dodgy from the shore then it very probably is! don't do it!"
