Ok, so I have only had this book for a short time, but I am very impressed with it.

I started out by just thumbing through the pages, as ya do, I was seriously impressed with the pics, illustration, diagrams etc that accompany all sections.

Once I got home with it, I started to read it properly, I simply read it all.
It is very well written and has the following sections…

Why choose a sit-on-top, Where can you paddle, Getting started, Equipment and accessories, Clothing and floatation, Kayaking with children, Getting afloat, Paddle skills, Rescues, Staying safe, Weather and the kayaker, River paddling, Diving and scuba, Kayak fishing, Caring for the environment.

The book also contains plenty of links and contacts.

Overall, I would recommend this book to anybody, definitely worth getting.
